A former small business-owner, Julie serves closely-held businesses and individuals with business, real estate, and employment matters, including: formation and corporate governance; contract drafting and negotiation; business and real estate purchases, sales, redemptions and buyouts; trademark registration; employer-side EEO employment matters and independent workplace investigations; and business and real estate disputes with an eye toward prompt and efficient resolution. Julie welcomes the opportunity to serve as outside corporate counsel to your business.
Julie is very active in the community, currently serving as Co-Chair of the Oregon Hispanic Bar Association (OHBA), President-Elect of the Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS) Foundation, and an active board member with Latino Founders. Julie also volunteers with Opportunities for Law in Oregon (OLIO) each year, and is a regular speaker and facilitator for the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Latino Leadership Program.
When she's not working, volunteering, or mentoring, Julie likes to get outdoors for something active, check out new restaurants, stay in to read a book, or simply hang out with family and friends.
